Project Test Recovery
DX Solutions were engaged to develop and deliver a new platform for integrating credit checking for Toyota Finance Australia’s (TFA) fleet and retail customers. The platform was being developed to automate the credit decisioning process via interfaces between the Veda credit bureau & TFA systems. The project was behind schedule, and the amount of testing could not be implemented in time to cover the risk.
DX implemented our proprietary Vantage “process visualisation” methodology to map all business and technical processes. DX Solutions’ QA specialists traced the various process pathways, multiplied by data sets to deliver the “minimum viable test set”.
DX were able to reduce the number of test cases from 1533 to 475 – leading to a 6 week reduction in the original projected timeline. The project went live without any “severity 1 or 2” defects or negative business impact.
