Australian Computer Society Digital Transformation Project

Case Study

Australian Computer Society

Digital Transformation Project

Background

The Australian Computer Society (ACS) was in the process of Digital Transformation, working to uplift digital capabilities across the business. The project involved multiple phases and outputs which included a “Migration of Skills Assessment”, a “Membership & Events” platform and the implementation of a “Professional Partnership Program (PPP)”. DX Solutions were engaged from the beginning of the process through to final delivery.

Solution

DX Solutions’ QA experts, post review of requirements and business rules, conducted end-to-end testing across the platform. DX also implemented DXTF, an automation testing framework developed internally that supports parallel testing across multiple browsers, and which visualises the results in the form of a user-friendly report.

Tests were scripted and an automation testing suite was built for regression testing.

Results

DX’s QA team assisted ACS to identify and resolve significant numbers of defects and manage risk. Automation-as-a-Service (AaaS) is in operation to ensure the stability of the platform throughout its ongoing development.
