A New Leadership Appointment to Spearhead Customer Engagement and Growth

DX Solutions announces an exciting new leadership appointment with Ashley Howden as Head of Growth to spearhead greater customer engagement and sales growth. Ashley brings over 20 years’ experience in private and listed companies in Australia, UK and Singapore, including his most recent role as CEO of KJR Australia for the past six years.

He comes to DX Solutions with very impressive credentials. At KJR, a leading IT consultancy he led the company from the front spearheading its business development efforts securing many multi-million dollar engagements with ASX-listed and Fortune 500 companies, and Government departments in Australia. Throughout his career he has led companies through major growth phases by driving senior level business development and targeted mergers and acquisitions.

Ashley recently completed a four-year term with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company H&L, Australia’s largest provider of point-of-sale and restaurant management software for the hospitality sector. There, he helped guide the company’s re-platforming and ongoing business development resulting in its successful exit to Canadian-based software conglomerate Valsoft in late 2019.

Prior to this, Ashley worked as Sales & Marketing Director of a Sydney-based software development company, Community Engine, through its early development and commercialisation before moving into the CEO role; as well as leading the business development and growth of one of the UK’s first social media companies, Wildfire.

A former magazine journalist and editor, Ashley also helped build and sell one of the UK’s largest independent media companies to the British Broadcasting Commission (BBC), subsequently turning the company into the BBC’s special interest publishing arm, and one of Europe’s first digital service agencies. It was then acquired by London Stock Exchange-listed Chime plc, one of the largest marketing communications groups in Europe where he worked for several years post-acquisition.

He is currently a non-executive Director of Visit Sunshine Coast (the tourism body for that region) and a Director of Quantum Leap Capital, an investment fund aimed at emerging technology companies and distressed technology businesses.

“We’re very pleased at DX Solutions with Ashley joining us as he is a sensational addition to the DX leadership team with his amazing leadership and business growth experience. He has a strong career record of major achievements in growing businesses,” said Managing Director Jason Peters.
